ITCND membership provides a valuable link to a premier industry voice that promotes the use, growth and development of information technology in North Dakota through the following:
Communication to to members, industry stakeholders and decision makers through the “TECHWIRE” newsletter, social media and the ITCND website www.itcnd.org.
Programs and Activities to stimulate knowledge sharing, networking and talent development. ITCND hosts an annual meeting and IT Awards Program, co-hosts the ND IT Symposium, and facilitates networking luncheons and other events. It administers the IT Career Awareness Program for 7-12 grade students, as well as their parents and educators. ITCND also organizes committees to address specific issues such as entrepreneurship and capital, workforce development, public policy, business climate, infrastructure and innovation.
Advocacy and Lobbying to educate legislators and key local, state and federal decision makers about information technology-related issues. ITCND publishes the State of the IT Industry Guide every two years coinciding with the legislative session. ITCND’s public policy activities have been effective in representing the collective opinion of its members on federal, state and local IT issues including incentives for companies who expand into the IT field, establishment of entrepreneurial, venture capital and financing programs, development of educational partnerships and creation of technology centers.
